As you are in the garden you will not require a tie

GENTLEMAN - Are required to wear lounge suits, jackets or blazers. Tailored shorts are allowed.
LADIES - Ladies are required to wear your best and favourite dresses or skirts.

No sports wear or visible brand is allowed so if you are coming straight from yoga, please remember to bring a change of clothes as you will be not admitted into the Hidden Garden.


11:00 till 11:00 Wednesday to Saturday.

There will be music played throughout the day, with live music and DJ’s in the evening.


Whether it be an umbrella, yoga bag, or an Oar, leave it with us and we will take care of it for you until you leave.

From 13:00 our stunning pizza garden will be serving delicious fresh pizzas straight form the oven. Complimentary dry snacks will also be available throughout the day.

DRINKS - cold draught lager, delicious fizz, chilled white & rose wine and a selection of fantastic spirits.

Lunch will be served promptly at 13:00 for our pre booked tables. For all you lovely people who are getting peckish the pizza Garden will be open from 13:00.


We apologise but the Hidden Garden is a strictly non smoking site. Vaping is allowed.


No, you don't need to, we’ve got you covered.
Any guest caught bringing their packed lunch in to the hidden garden will be refused entry and not be given a refund.


Should you have any allergies or intolerances please let us know and we will do our very best to cater to you.


As we are British and operating in the peak of an English summer we will have cover to guarantee your experience at The Hidden Garden is not ruined.


Absolutely! Our viewing terrace offers prime views of the races, river and the occasional brave duck throughout the day.

Don't miss out though as we do not reserve any seating on the terrace to make sure everyone has the same opportunity.

Ticket Questions

No, we want to keep you with us. Your ticket gives you all day access to the hidden garden. From 11am - 11pm on the day of purchase.


Our minimum age is 21 but we understand that Henley regatta is a family event. Between the hours of 11:00 till 17:00 families with children between the ages of 16 & 21 will allowed access only when accompanied by their family. A general admission ticket must be purchased for all attending. The Hidden Garden reserves the right to refuse entry.



Yes you will need ID so security can check your name off the guest list on arrival.

On purchasing a ticket or subscribing to our newsletter you are agreeing to allow The Hidden Garden to contact you on updates and information on further events. Your information will not be shared with any third parties.


Apart from our dining options on the terrace and VIP areas, The Hidden Garden wants to make sure that everyone has the same experience so don’t miss out, come early and get the best seat. If you interested in having your own table or area for the day or night please email [email protected]

You can cancel your tickets and get a full refund within 14 days of purchasing a ticket. Tickets are transferable.


We are very sorry but due to our location and nature of the busy tow path we are unable to offer disabled access for health and safety reasons. Please know we are working on this for next year.



Travel Questions


A five minute walk from Henley town centre we are located on the Berkshire riverbank, just past the Stewards enclosure and just before the little bridge on the tow path. (There’s a really good map on the Regatta website - could you add this with an icon showing where the Hidden Garden is relative to everything else)

Please make sure you allow additional time if driving in to Henley due to the extra security measures that are now operated by the Regatta and the Police in the surrounding areas.

Trains run frequently to Henley from London (Paddington) and there is a special timetable operated by Great Western Railway for the duration of the Regatta. For further information on times and fares, please visit the Great Western railway website - https://www.gwr.com


The main taxi drop off during Regatta is on White hill which is a short walk from the hidden garden.
